RIVERSIDE STATE PARK
Located in Nine Mile Falls, Riverside State park sports camping facilities, an equestrian area, off-roading vehicle area, access to the Little Spokane River, boating and a boat launch, and lots of great picnic spots. Also in the park is the Spokane House Interpretive Center, open weekends. It’s focus is on the story of the Spokane House, the oldest building in Washington and the indians that resided there. People flock to Riverside to view the bowl and pitcher, basaltic formations along the Spokane river, and to walk across the swinging bridge that crosses the river which was built by the CCC in the late 1930s.

MT. SPOKANE STATE PARK
Mt. Spokane State Park encompasses 13,919 acres in the Selkirk Mountains. Cross-country skiing, night skiing, camping, hiking, biking, 100 miles of equestrian trails, dog sledding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing are a few of the many activities available to you at Mt. Spokane State Park. Wildlife viewing and bird watching are also a popular activity. The states surrounding the park and Canada are viewable from the top of the 5,883-foot elevation of the mountain.

EDGECLIFF PARK
Edgecliff Park is a great place for families. With a covered picnic shelter, lots of sports fields and courts, playground area and lots of parking it can make a great day out with people of all ages. Sports areas include baseball, basketball and tennis and other amenities include barbecue equipment, picnic tables, a covered shelter, drinking fountain and restrooms. Overall, this park covers everything from a day with the family to a group event.

SULLIVAN PARK
Located in Spokane Valley, Sullivan Park amenities include everything from hiking to dancing with trails and a western dance hall. Also included are access to the Spokane River, a covered picnic shelter, barbeque equipment and restrooms. Whether you’re interesting in spending a day outdoors or having a fun group get-together this park has everything you could ever need.

VALLEY MISSION PARK
Also located in the valley is Valley Mission Park which boasts not only your typical park facilities but also a swimming pool, horse arena and Splash Down Waterslide Park. Playground equipment is also available. Sports include basketball, tennis and baseball.

MANITO PARK AND GARDENS
Called “the premier park in Spokane” Manito Park is a must-see. This 90 acre park located in the city of Spokane on South Hill contains many beautiful and spectacular gardens in many different styles. Styles include Duncan Garden in the renaissance style, Nishinomiya Japanese Garden, dahlia and iris gardens, the Lilac Garden, the Joel E. Ferris Perennial Garden, Rose Hill and Gaiser Conservatory. If you’re not in the mood for a stroll in the garden, Manito Park also has two play areas, a softball field and picnic areas.
