“The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. The Children’s Underground is open Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Admission to the Yakima Valley Museum and Children’s Underground is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, children 5 and under are free and families are $12; special group rates and tours are available.”

The museum has a superb collection of horse-drawn vehicles, from stagecoach to hearse; a historical exhibit and reconstruction of the Washington D.C. office of former Yakima resident and environmentalist, Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas; and a changing schedule of special exhibitions.”
